If you’ve read any of my earlier posts, you know that I struggled a lot this past year, and I’ve been very open about my experiences. Today, I want to share my story of how I went from being a struggling digital marketer to having a successful online business.

Buying Another Course I Didn't Need But Was Told I Could Resell and Make Millions

After I purchased the UBC course, I told myself that it would be the last course I’d ever buy, and I set a goal: I would give myself until my birthday (May 31st) to make a sale. I did everything. I posted on social media 10 times a day on multiple sites. I regularly emailed my list. I applied everything I learned in the course, but I still didn’t make a single sale. Not one. I felt so defeated and frustrated. I had always been promised that if I bought these courses and stayed consistent, I would be successful. But that just wasn’t the case for me.

Making a Course for LinkedIn (Coming Soon)

Back in April, I decided to partner up with a friend I had been talking to for months. He taught me everything about LinkedIn, and we loved how it helped us get our stories out there. So, we got to work and created a course on how to get your LinkedIn up and running. Unfortunately, that course never got finished, and time passed. Maybe one day it will be released.

During our talks while creating the course, my friend told me one night about a software called Redirect. He shared everything he knew, and I was intrigued. He gave me the name of one of the founders, and I contacted her within the week. At first, I didn’t know how to process all the information she was giving me because I had been burned so many times before. Plus, since this was a software, I wasn’t sure if it would break any rules for my husband, who works for the government. I spent a week gathering all the information, and when everything checked out, I bought into it.

What Happened After I bought into Redirect

Within the first month, I made 5 direct sales, and with the compounding four-gen system, I made 130 sales altogether. Let me take you back for a second. I went into debt buying courses I could never resell, but six months later, I found software that everyone could use (I’ll explain more about it later) and made 130 sales passively within the first month of owning it. Wow! Here’s the thing about this business idea: I was never promised I would make a certain amount of money. No one told me I would only have to work 1-2 hours a day, and they never said I would do this all passively. I was simply told how amazing the software was. I knew the software was going to help my business, but I never imagined I could become so successful just selling the software itself. Now, it’s a business, so it’s work. Some days I work 10-12 hours, and some days I don’t even open my laptop.

Do you want to hear the really good part about Redirect? The owners are the best people I have ever met. These three women are so knowledgeable and know how to run a business. I have learned so much from them over the past three months. Not only do we keep up with all the updates and information, but we are also coached by the most amazing people. So now, after three months, I’ve hit 300 sales with Redirect. Because of my success, I’ve been named a Success Manager within Redirect, and because of that, I get to work alongside our president. Not only do we get to bring our own ideas to the table, but we are also being coached by this man. Byron James is known for taking businesses to billions of dollars and has built his own business into a multi-million-dollar empire. Redirect is predicted to hit 10,000 members by 2025 and scale into the millions in 2025. It's ground breaking and to be completely honest now is the time to get in.

I didn't get here by chance; I got here because I took a chance. I built this business from experience and welcomed amazing people into it whom I believed would be incredible assets. Throughout my journey in digital marketing, I've met remarkable individuals along the way. These are the same people who have helped me reach where I am today. These 300 sales wouldn’t have been possible without them all. It takes a community of great leaders to build a business and keep it growing.
